When initially joining a network marketing company you are provided with generic company website. At which you can showcase to other your company’s products, benefits, and compensation plan. The major issue with simply using this generic website is, well its just that– generic. 97% of the distrubutors of that network marketing company are using the exact SAME website to promote their business.
What makes you different from your competitors who are using the same generic website?
Lets just say a prospect accidentally comes accross your website. And miraculously stays there for more than 3 seconds. Besides your name and your contact information, how will your prospects get to know who you are and your story? Lets face it, that prospect will not bother calling up a person they know nothing about, no matter of how interested they are in your company.
The primary reason people join your networking company is because of YOU. Not your company products or compensation plan. So, the only solution to this problem is to own a YOU inc branded website, which is loaded with contents about YOU, your story, and your indepth knowledge of the world of internet network marketing. This will give your prospect the confidence to join your team in your network marketing company–aware of the value and contributions you add to their success.
Having your own branded website also alows you to customize it so that you can capture your own leads and build a relationship with them. The 2 steps you can use is to:
1) Create a capture page which makes it appealing enough for your prospects to opt-in. To build a capture page you will need website builder software such as dreamweaver, bluevoda, or NVU. These software will allow you to edit the HTML with ease and create you own capture page.
The most effective capture pages normally consist of an sub-headline, main-headline, opening, call to action, and opt-in-box. Majority of people uses video capture page and it does fairly well but there are other components that must be considered when creating an effective capture page. I would love to cover this in more detail but given the time crunch, ill post another article about creating a capture page that converts next time.
2) Once the prospects fills in their personal information they are directed to your autoresponders loaded with your personalized follow up messages. When creating follow ups for your autoresponders, you should create messages that informs your prospects on who your are and why you chose your company. You should also give out valueble contents that your prospects could implent in their business. If you succeed indeveloping a relationsip with your list, every now & then, you can promote certain affiliate products and make some sales.
There are more details i wanted to cover in regards to creating an effective capture page & autoresponders but ill will cover those in future articles…

So why is there a 90% FAILURE rate in Online Home based business opportunity?

Let me tell you it has nothing to do with the specific business itself. But it
has more to do with the quality of people who decide to start in a home based
business online.

Everyday new people come to the internet all for the wrong reasons –MONEY.
I know that’s what we all want to achieve, ultimately, but 90% of the people
who seek home based opportunities online do it because they are either sick of
their job, others got fired or laid off from their job, and then are just others
who are just too curious.

Here is the common trait with all those people I just mentioned:

They’re DREAMERS.

And as Dreamers, there is nothing more they would love to have than to have money
INSTANTLY show up in their bank account from their home based business opportunity.
To save them from their financial doom. A financial DOOM that resulted from their poor money making decisions.

These Dreamers, in the past, have never run business of their own. They do believe
in the financial potential of the business opportunity enough to buy. The
problem is when they make a purchase, they do it with–”Entitlement Mentality.”
This means that they believe they’re owed something in return just because the bought the product or join the biz opportunity.

The moment these Dreamers do not make money(within weeks or month), they start
screaming “SCAM! SCAM!”. And then they eventually QUIT. Then they blame everybody but themselves on their failure to succeed.

Do not be one of these people. There have been plenty of individuals in the past who
struggled to success in order to pave the way for you to succeed in your online home based business opportunity.

Please do comment and share this article, it would be greatly appreciated.

You’re probably aware the superior athletes  with the likes of Peyton Manning, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan  have the ability to FOCUS to the point where noise and other distractions from the crowd are completely eliminated.  Network marketers can also benefit from this important concept by developing an ability to concentrate just on a single OBJECTIVE.

According to the book The Power of Focus by Jack Candield and Mark Victor Hansen, focus begins with removing bad habits and replacing them with good, healthy habits.

1) Begin setting GOALS

Goals are the best way to become focused. When you see a task or a target, your brain will just start working and will continously move towards that goal until that goal is acheved.  Its in our nature to be always be working towards an objective.

Goals give you a reason and a sense of purpose. If you dont have that then your probably lost.

Whats the common trait most unhappy people have? You guess.. it lack of purpose as a result of having no goals in life.

2)Seek out mentors to prorovide guidance.

A Mentor can provide you with guidance, keep you on track, and can offer direction for you to follow when your faced with difficulty and challegnes. They ‘ve been on that road you are on before so that they can give you great advice on what not to do. They will, also, challenge you and hold you accountable to your goals.

3) Eat properly.

Yes  i said it.

I love food.

Here’s the thing: Some foods will improve your mental sharpness( fruits, vegetables, fishes, and fibers.) Meanwhile other such as fats and acohol are aboslutely no good for you.  If you would only increase your daly intake of  high-quality foods and drinks every day, then your mental focus and sharpness will autmatially improve.

Drink more water as well.

4) Make sure you take regular breaks.

Unless you’re super human and can work for 8 hour straight, then make sure you take short breaks . This allows you to work at a full capacity at  longer periods of time. Get up and stretch. Make sure you are always moving aound. Eating a pieces of fruits or drinking a glass of cold water will drastically improve your working capacity.

5)Turn off Distractions

When your working on a project that requires conenctration, make sure you turn off any distractions such as the phone.

Yes, no blackberry or iphone.

Cut down on your emaili checking and instant messageing system.( skype).  Dont worry.. I use to get carried away with these things.

But let me tell you– removing all these distractions will greatly improve your concentrations & focus. As a result, your output will increase.

One final advice also it o make sure you make a list of three or four activities that will you achieve your goals, targets and objective.  Whether it’d be calling your leads, putting up blog content, writing aritcles, or uploading a video. Select one time from your list and work on it until it is competed.  This simple step alone will help you achieve focus.

Are you having trouble writing effective sentences?

Are struggling to combine an interesting and grammatical paragraphs in your articles or blog post?

…Then you have to outsource this area of your marketing.

There is hope.

You can begin to write stronger compelling sentences by doing this one particular task.

And that is LEARN and PRACTICE.

Maybe two…but those are interwined if you want to achieve success in the area of writing.

There are lots of books that will help you improve this area of difficulty, but for the sake of this article ill just cover the most important points for building good sentences.

1) Keep your sentences simple.

If you are running five lines and have preposition and conjuction make sure you cut them into pieces.

example of a Preposition

The children climbed the mountain without fear.

example of conjuction

Lilacs and violets are usually purple.

You have to know that around 30-40% of readers are slow at reading. I myself is included in that category. You must communicate at 6th grade level so that all your prospects understand clearly your objective.

2) Use “YOU”

Im talking about the word “you.” If you’ve been thought at school, as i have, not to use “you” then you have to reprogram yourself completely to start using “you.” The copy in your website or blog should be all about audience (prospects).

“We would like to help You can get from point A to B.”

I think YOU got the idea.

3) Keep paragraphs short

When you keep your paragraphs short, it helps for your audience to process the information much easier.

Do you remember the last Direct mail order letter you got from the mail?

Notice how the letter was structured?

They have around 2-3 sentences paragraphs, sometimes even 1. What this does, is it allows the message to broken up and help the points get across simpler. Your prospects dont have the time or the desire to read the whole thing.

They wont.

4) Use the action in Verbs, not nouns.

If  you want to get your point across to your audience, why not just communicate it in the clearest and faster way possible. (refer to my post about twitter).

The last thing you want to do is to force your prospects to re-read your copy because they are confused as to what you are communicating. The only time you want your prospects to re-read your materials is if you want them to buy from you.

If you still dont have a twitter account yet…sigh.

If you do have twitter account and you post often, you are like myself, a tweet-a-holic.

Before you get down on yourself, though, there are benefits to being a twit-a-holic. The main benefit to using twitter is it makes you a better writer. You won’t become an International Best Selling Author but you will write better articles, blog post, and headlines.

1) Twitter forces you Laser target your Message

You’re probably aware that only have 140 characters to get your point accross. This means that “jibbering-jabbering” is not allowed or you’ll run out of space. Characters that includes letters, numbers, symbols, punctuations and spaces all count as characters on twitter.

This can be very difficult sometimes, specially if you’re a writer, because we tend to say too much.

2) Twitter forces you to Practice Practice Practice your vocab.

If you have something to say but tend to say too much, well, twitter stops you. This forces you get your dictionary and thesaurus out from your “Never See Again” box and get you to start using it again.

Yes, I feel bad for you.

It makes you discover words that are shorter and are more descriptive and get the task done in less that 140 characters are ideal. Using twitter also forces you “Pimp” your verbs so that you can send you message in a clearer manner.

3) Twitter Improves your Editing

As a writer, you need to be able to edit your work –edit your work well. When you use twitter you really have to sharpen you editing skills. You have to edit to the point where it cause your followers to take action, click your link, and “retweets” your tweets.

There you go.. another twitter fact from twitter-a-holic. If someone ask you why tweet so much, now you can give a great answer.

Could you comment and RT. That would be much appreciated. Thx.

Whether youve been marketing through social media for some time or just a newbie just learning the ropes. Youve noticed that the majority of people in the social media are only dish out Me-too contents.

This is frustrating and somewhat spammy.  And so im listing the 5 COLD hard truth about social media marketing.

1) Give up your Best Valueable Stuff

Its alright if you want to be paid for all that you do. I mean its only human nature. But you have to earn your pay cheque and thats done by providing indispensible value.

As a great man once said, “You get paid for the amount of value you bring to the marketplace.”

+value = +$$$
–value = $0

You should be able to answer this single question, “Why should anyone bother reading or watch your material?”

2) Have a Life outside of social media

I know this is the problem for most social media fanatics. Please dont devote you’re reason for living entirely on social media. I mean, wouldnt social media marketing be sooo much easier if you never had to eat, sleep, shower, or spend time with your family.

When i first started i got caught in the hoopla of making as many friends through social media that i forgot to take a shower.

……………

Im just kidding.

You have to set some goals and be disciplined with them when it comes to social media marketing. Set a timer if you have to but please stay focused. They can easily distract from your overall goal.

3) BEWARE: DONT SELL on Social Media.

Dont you just hate those tweeps (term your refer to people on twitter)? You know what im talking about.

“Making Money from your Tweets? I am. Making >$20 a day on autopilot, Make money too TODAY http://bit.ly/6l9GAQ”

To be honest, its difficult to sell products/services through social media becuase people HATE being sold to. Even if you could recieve a bit of success, eventually you could end up getting kicked out of the social circle.

Its probably more effective to promote a great content or a free report than just promoting your product.

4)  Blogs are not your Holy Grail of Marketing Plan

If your planning to have your  blog as your only plan to gather traffic and customers then you’re selling yourself short. Blogs are great but it does not replace having a complete marketing plan.

Blog marketing is the best method to dish out your best materials into the marketplace. They even better when you have autoresponders, twitter, facebook, special reports and other tools.

You must have plan in place to turn strangers to fans.

5) Good Content will not Save a Bad Reputation.

Just remember, people with crappy products, business practices, and background will be exposed. You would be surprised how quickly words spread about a person and their brand.

Make sure you treat other people with respect or else you will pay for it dearly.

Thats dreaded word again—Procrastination.

We all hate it…but we’re all guilty of procrastinating. Yes, Im pointing to you and me as procrastinators.

Do you recall saying to yourself, “I’ll do this later,” “I think Monday is the perfect time to start,” and best one “I’ll make this my new years resolution.”

Then when the moment comes—life gets in the way—and you don’t end up taking action.

The mistake everyone is guilty of making at some point in their life. Waiting for the PERFECT time to take Action.

I’ll tell you right now the reason why we procrastinate so much…

…its because we don’t have a good enough REASON as to WHY we need to Take ACTION. (read it the second time to fully understand it)

Let me give you an example..If someone you love was held at gun point by a madman and that madman told you to generate an article or a video for next 90days or they will kill your love one. Would hesitate to produce the video? Would you hesitate to produce the article?

No matter what you’re doing at the moment, if someone threatened you or your love ones.. you would make damn sure there is TIME to post a video or an article.

So in order to overcome procrastination, you must find a reason why you are doing what you are doing.  If you’re in network marketing and you have to post video & articles to get people in your MLM opportunity, you must find the “WHY”. When you find the “WHY” I want you to announce it to your friends & family members and broadcast it in social media if you must.

Now stay focus on your WHYs and dont let anything distract you.
